No. Gurdwaras welcome everyone. Cover your head (scarves are provided at the entrance), remove your shoes, wash your hands and feet, and avoid tobacco or alcohol before visiting. Everyone sits on the floor together in the langar.

Indian citizens and OCI card holders can visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Pakistan visa-free for the day, by registering online in advance. You return the same day. Overnight or wider Pakistan travel requires a visa and usually a licensed tour operator.
